Technipedia is a virtual platform promoted by the University of Yaoundé I in the framework of  an international university cooperation programme of the Interuniversity Consortium for University Management (CIGU) formed by the University of Yaoundé I (Cameroon), the University Cheikh Anta Diop (Dakar, Senegal), the University of Antananarivo (Madagascar), the University Eduardo Mondlane (Maputo, Mozambique), the University of Guinea Ecuatorial and the eight public Catalan universities: Universitat de Barcelona (UB), Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Universitat de Girona (UdG), Universitat de Lleida (UdL), Universitat Roviri i Virgili (URV) and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC), all of which form the Catalan Association of Public Universities (ACUP).

This university cooperation programme has received funds from the Obra Social of Fundació La Caixa and the Spanish Agency of International Development Cooperation (AECID).

The aim of this project is to enhance and expand innovation and entrepreneurship among African university students in order to strengthen the national economical fabric. Furthermore, the project aims at deepening the relations between the universities and the economic sector through the exchange of knowledge.
